The infection control course aims at providing your staff practical advice on preventing and controlling infections in nurseries. This course will also help nursery managers fulfil their obligations under the Health and Safety Work Act 1974 and the Public Health (Control of Disease) Act 1984.
By attending this course, all attendees will learn:
- how prevent or stop outbreaks of the most common infections that may arise
- how to implement effective hygiene procedures
- how to ensure prompt and appropriate treatment of illness
- How to develop your nursery policies on infection control issues.
Maximum of 12 attendees per instructor
This course is delivered at your venue, typically over 3 hours and is available as an early evening session 6.30-8.30.
